The flag of Equatorial Guinea contains the coat of arms. The arms
has six diamonds which represent the country's five islands and
the mainland portion of the country. There is a silk-cotton tree
(God tree). There is a scroll with the motto; Unidad, Paz, Justica,
or "Unity, Peace, Justice". The green stripe represents the agriculture
wealth, the red stands for sacrifice for freedom, and white for
peace. The blue triangle represents the sea that connects the
islands with the mainland. |
